There are not many things better in life than getting your tax refund. Although in reality, a tax refund is nothing more than the return of a year-long, interest-free loan to Uncle Sam, there’s something innately gratifying about getting that check. It’s probably because it feels like you’re getting free money since you never actually had it to begin with. Regardless, I always use my tax money to go on an impulsive spending spree.
At first, I wanted to use this year’s tax money to help pay for a kitchen remodeling. That’s was before I saw the price quote from www.homeproimprovement.com. So I ended up just settling on a good old-fashioned shopping spree at the Shops of Saddle Creek.
The Shops of Saddle Creek, located in the suburb of Germantown in eastern Memphis, is recognized as the first “lifestyle center” developed in the nation. With more than four dozen shops to choose from, including the Apple Store, Anthropologie and Lucky Brand Jeans, it’s the perfect place to spend money.
One of the best things about the Shops of Saddle Creek is its ambience. While traditional shopping malls can be crowded, noisy and confusing, this place provides a much more pleasurable shopping experience. When you’re not shopping, it’s equally enjoyable to just meander down the sidewalks and admire the unique architecture and lush foliage.
All in all, you won’t find a better place to spend your tax refund.

Those who were not as fortunate, may be having to Read the rest of this entry »
