With the troubling economy, we have all had to be more careful on how we spend our money. Some people were raised with the importance, as well as values of saving their money, cutting corners, and clipping coupons, others were not as fortunate, because they were raised with money, and thought they had nothing to worry about. Those who were not as fortunate, may be having to learn this things the hard way, and as quickly as possible. They will need to sit down and figure out what the necessities are that they absolutely can not live without, and decide what things they absolutely have to some how fit into their budget. There are several ways that someone can save money, if you just take the time to do so. Below are some tips and tricks to consider taking the time out of your busy schedule to try, and see just how much of a difference it can make in your daily spending habits.

COUPON CLIPPING: Taking the time each week to sit down with the newspaper, and clip out the coupons of things that you use, can really add up. You should look for not only the coupon from the manufacturer, but also the coupon from the store that you are buying from, because sometimes you can use two coupons towards the same item, and it will really save you a lot of money in the long run.

PRIORITZING: Sit down with a pen and a piece of paper and write down all of the things that you spend money on each week, and see if they are things that A) you can live without, and B) are costing you more than you realized each month. It will amaze you how much you can save making your espresso at home, instead of swinging through the local drive-thru coffee shop on your way to work.

There are plenty of things to buy in Memphis: good barbeque, home security alarms and T-shirts that talk about Tennessee. If you’re in the market for some premium Elvis gear, however, there are a few places that outweigh the others. Here are our picks:
Graceland: What better place to get licensed Elvis gear than at the place he called home? If you’re a fan you’re already heading to Graceland anyway so stop by the huge giftshop on the way out to check out the newest in souvenirs.
Memphis Outlet: This place is a mixed bag but you’re bound to find a deal on some quality Elvis stuff. Whether it’s blue suede shoes or an Elvis Panini press you can pretty much get anything here you’re likely to want that has any connection to the King.
Boulevard Souvenirs: Elvis drove past this place all the time when he was living at Graceland but it didn’t yet sell souvenirs. They’ve got a lot of rare good as well as some autographed itemsit’s a good place to get a gift for the Elvis fanatic in your life.

In today’s economy, people are terrified to shop thinking that they are going to pay too much. This is not true, There are so many places that you can get your money’s worth.

Super centers offer cheaper prices because they buy bulk products which bring their cost down that in turn will give you a cheaper price. They are can able to hold more products which makes it easier for you to shop at one location for all your needed items rather than wasting gasoline running to different locations. They also carry generic or non-name brand items that are cheaper still because the packaging is cheaper.Super centers can carry discount cards that give you an extra percentage off your purchases. These cards do not look like they save much on small purchases, but when you buy a large amount of items, it saves you more. Most major cities have at least one super center in their area.

Discount stores give you a cheaper price on your personal items that you could find at other large stores. Things like shampoo, soap, shaving cream, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and dishwashing liquid are sold at a cheaper price than larger stores but have a smaller variety.

If you ever go to Memphis, and if Elvis was alive, you might have seen him shopping at a number of different malls; such as The Oak Court Mall. This mall is home to more than 60 shops including restaurants. It is one of the more upscale malls in the area with Italian marble sculptures and some bronze sculptures. You would be able to shop at stores in some of the malls in Memphis such as Sears, Macy’s, Dillard’s, and J.C. Penny. Just pick you a mall and start shopping but be sure to keep your eyes alert for an Elvis sighting! If you prefer to be out in the open, though, go to the Avenue Carriage Crossing mall where you can shop at 75 stores and restaurants. Some of the stores include some well-known ones like Barnes and Noble, Eddie Bauer and Starbucks. With Elvis being known for his entertainment, he might have been seen at the Peabody Place, a downtown spot for dining, shopping and entertainment. But keep looking if you don’t see any Elvis’ yet, because there’s sure to be somebody that looks just like him out there shopping in one these malls and stores in Memphis.Related Article : It’ All About Elvis – Memphis , Tennessee

There is no doubt about it. Memphis, Tennessee is the undisputed king of all things barbecue. From pulled pork sandwiches dripping with sauce to tender and juicy rips, the state of Tennessee knows how to do barbecue right. What goes best with barbecue? You guessed it. Shopping. The malls and department stores in Tennessee are some of the best you will find in America. Everything you could ever want is there. It does not matter if you are shopping on a shoestring budget, or blowing through your fat paycheck on a Saturday afternoon, the shopping malls in Tennessee have something to offer everyone.

Most men do not like to shop. They rather watch the big football game and cook up something spicy on the grill. However, if the shopping malls in Tennessee are filled with this many deep-smoked barbecue joints, what man can resist a weekend shopping trip with his wife or girlfriend? This is the best of both worlds: clothes and coleslaw, fried chicken and discount furniture. If Elvis were still alive he would be eating barbecue and shopping for new rhinestones at one of the malls in Tennessee. Maybe he would even croon an old tune or two.
